The Pastor and the Elders quickly received a letter stating it was not a "Lutheran" program. The letter was very through with its references both Biblical and confessional. We did a watered down version this past year. One of the things generally is that you have an outside pastor preach about the cash, that way it's not you telling your own folks to pony up. <br /><br />We got a book. I never read it. Okay for money drives. <br /><br />Of course, your example may be where the district wants the congregations to consecrate more money to the district.Rev.
